Hi There

I thought I would pop by and say hello. I have been very quiet lately. Life has been very hectic lately. One of my goals this year was to look after my health both physical and emotional and whilst I have the first well and truly on its way - the emotional side has reared its ugly head again.

Two weeks ago I had such a huge panic attack out of nowhere in the middle of a shopping centre I had to go to hospital in an ambulance. Im ok now but it started off a chain reaction that has culminated in me seeing my doctor and getting some help.
I am estranged from my family and I recently found out some information about them that had been hard to compute. I guess the stress and the baggage was too much and my body kinda gave way.

But I am on the right track and have an excellent doctor. So I will be ok.

The upside is I am feeling much better and more sociable and I have been able to get back in touch with my friends in real life and online. So thats nice.

I hope you have all been well in the time I have been away and I look forward to catching up on your news :)

  1. You have had a tough time Gilly but as usual you are positive and quick to take steps to improve things, rather than be a victim. It is one of many things that I admire about you.
    Glad to have you back.

  2. Good on you for taking the time out to seek the help you needed and not just trying to 'push on through".
Hope you are feeling better each day.

  3. I am so glad that you're ok(ish). I have been thinking of you.
Mother's day is a killer for those of us with family baggage. I found it tough too - just so that you know that you're not alone.
    Take care Gilly.
