The Torch is Passed

Jack started tee-ball yesterday. This is a picture of his first hit. I cried! Tee-ball is a family sport around here with Mike and his family having a long history with the game as well as baseball.

Wide World Of Sports

To see out the holidays Mike decided to take Jack to two sporting events here in Perth this weekend.

On Friday night Jack was taken to his first NBL game - to see the Perth Wildcats. he had an absolute ball and came home with the obligatory team tee and sweat band.




Then on Saturday he took Jack to the Mainey Memorial Football Match for Telethon. Chris Mainwaring was a member of the West Coast Eagles who came to a sad end 18 months ago but his family and friends have organised a charity football game in his honour to raise money for Telethon.

Again Jack had a ball.....I can tell you I know someone who will sleep well tonight....
