More Ottobre Tees and Leggings

Panicked at the thought of not being able to sew for 5 days I made these tonight!

The leggings and tees are the same Ottobre ones listed in a previous post...its late and I cant remember the numbers LOL!

I love the strawberry pants and tee the best - the other pair of leggings not so much. I also have not put the elastic in the waist but I have to wait until Lainey is awake to do that!





So the machine is retired for 5 days while we are away in Perth - how will I cope...I have my knitting to console me....

Easter Hunt Bags

Easter is just around the corner and this year we are going all out with the kids. I have made them some Easter Egg Hunt bags and I am also going to make some other little goodies to go inside them...as well as the chocolate!

I hope this will start a tradition. That would be very nice :)

Teletubbies Are Go!

I have finally finished the Teletubby knitting project I did for Lainey. I have enjoyed it but am glad it is over!

Picnic Lunch at Kings Park

We had a picnic lunch at Kings Park today with Mikes parents. We were supposed to have a number of other things on our schedule but they were canceled and so we made lemonade from lemons and went and had a picnic. It was such good fun as you can see from the pics!

Easter Hats and Australias Next Top Model

Jack made the hat at kindy as his Easter Hat...and then Lainey got into the action. Aint they precious! We are so lucky :)

Laineys Dance Outfit

Next week Lainey starts a dance class....well actually both the children do and its really a music appreciation class! But there is an end of year concert called the Mamma Mia Extravaganza and its going to be alot of time.

Of course Lainey needs the full kit (well in my eyes anyway!).....I have already knitted the leg warmers and I have purchased the jiffies...and now the outfit. Its a top and pants - from Kwik Sew 2680. I'm not overly thrilled with the pants as the waist band was all lop sided in the end! But if when Lainey tries them on they are shocking I have plenty of material to make another. Its a lovely dark pink - these pics make them look orange!

Mamu Mia Hat

Lainey needs a new hat for daycare...well she doesnt really - I just wanted to make her one!

Heres one I whipped up tonight. I love this pattern, bought of course from Crafty Mamas. Lisa is a legend at getting the best patterns - oh and the fabric is from Crafty Mamas too...of course!

I love this - and I am sure it will look smashing on Lainey! I haven't tried it because she is ..well..sleeping like a baby!
