I was super lucky to have my trip to Melbourne coincide with the 2009 Crafty Mamas Retreat in Lancefield. Lancefield is about 80kms out of Melbourne and after a train and a coach (actually it was an econovan) trip I was sitting at the crafting table with my fellow CMs for a day of craft, knowledge exchange and of course laughter.
I was only there for the day but boy was it fun - I finally learnt how to use my yoyo makers and Tracy showed my the basics of crochet.
I absolutely loved it and cant wait till next year...I will be there you can count on that!
