Grand Revival Designs - Ava Bag

Tomorrow is my sister in laws birthday. This year I pledged that I would make something for everyone's birthday for whom I would usually buy something. The exception to the rules will be the children - who will get something made and something bought, and Mike - who will get what he always asks for...money! He wants to buy a new suit this year and seeing I'm not that good - he can buy the suit!

After a false start and then a thought I would buy her something...I pulled my head in and made this...the Ava Bag from Grand Revival Design.

I have never made this pattern before and after having done so I have absolutely fallen in love with it. The pattern is well written,. the instructions are clear and it is easy to put together - even someone with very basic sewing knowledge could do it.

I would like to make myself one - who knows I might even make two!
