Today at lunch time Skye Shannon from the ABC's Country Hour discussed the latest initiative from the Salvos called Braver, Stronger, Wiser.
It is a dvd which, from Boxing day, will be available FOC to anyone in rural WA who believes they may be, or may have someone in their family or friends circle suffering from depression.

"It features an extensive range of resources including emergency contact numbers, a link to The Salvation Army’s Hope for Life online suicide prevention training program, expert advice from Professor Michael Baigent of beyondblue, and much more."
As someone who has family members who have and still suffer depression and who lives in rural WA, I think this is a fabulous service. I urge you to look at it if you have any questions about depression.
